Branding in ClearPoint using Custom Styles
ClearPoint lets you customize the look of pod and table styles, which means you can change the look of pages in ClearPoint to match your organization’s branding and colors. You can also create custom headers and footers to create beautiful reports that match your organization’s branding guideline.

ClearPoint has a Custom Style menu that allows you to create custom branding in your ClearPoint account. Through pod and table styles, you can dictate the color scheme inside your account to match your organization’s brand guidelines, really making ClearPoint feel like your own. You can also create custom header and footer styles to keep any exports on-brand as well.
Creating a pod style
Pod styles can be created and applied to any detail pages or scorecard summary reports in your account. They are a great way to brand an account with your organization’s colors or call attention to specific pods on a detail page.
To the Custom Style menu, go to System Settings, then click into Admin Options.
Click on Custom Styles tile. A new window will appear.
In the Pod Styles tab, click on the plus icon in the top right of the pop out to add a new pod style. Enter a Name for the style.
In the three tabs below, you can create custom Pod Style, Pod Header, and Pod Contents.
Under the Pod Style tab, you can select a Main Border Style, as well as size and color. This controls the border around the pod. Under the Pod Header tab, you can select a Header Background Color, as well as the header text style. There is also the option to select a different Header Border style, size, and color. Under the Pod Contents tab, you can control the pod color, text font, and pod border. If you have an organizational font, you can select it here, so that any text in these pods conforms to your organizational branding.
You have the ability to mark a pod style as your organizational default. By checking the box next to Default Style, this pod style will be applied to all pods in your account, unless the pod style is otherwise specified.
Assign a style to a specific pod
On the detail page with the pod you want to change, click on the edit dropdown menu and then click Edit Layout. A new window will appear.
Click the edit icon for the pod you’d like to customize.
A new window will appear. In this window, select a style from the Custom Pod Style dropdown menu. Click Save on the new window and Save on the Measure detail page edit window.
After making these changes, you will see that the pod you edited now uses the custom style you selected.
Creating a table style
Table styles can be created and applied to entire summary reports or specific columns in summary reports. Creating a custom table style can be a great way to style any report.
To create the table style, go to System Settings, then click into Admin Options.
Click on Custom Styles tile. A new window will appear.
In the new window, click on the Table Styles tab on the left. Click on the plus icon in the top right of the pop out to add a new table style and enter a name for the style.
In the three tabs below, you can customize the Table, Table Header, and Table Cell.
Under the Table tab, you can select a Table Border, as well as size and color. This controls the border around the table. Under the Table Header tab, you can select a Header Background Color, as well as the header text. There is also the option to select a different Header Border style, size, and color. Under the Table Cell tab, you can control the cell color, text font, and cell borders. If you have an organizational font, you can select it here, so that any text in these cells conforms to your organizational branding.

Assign a style to a specific summary layout
On the summary report page, click the edit icon. A new window will appear.
Select a style from the Table Style dropdown menu to customize the overall table style of the summary report. To apply this style to the entire report, click Save.
The “Gold Tables” style in this example is shown below.
Assign a style to a specific column
Alternatively, each individual column’s table style can also be customized. In the report edit window, click on the Columns tab.
Check the box next to Show Advanced Options. Select a style from the Style dropdown menu for each column you wish to customize. If a table style is not selected for individual columns, they will take on the overall Table Style set for the summary report.
Header Styles
Header styles can be created in the Custom Styles menu and then applied to any briefing book template in your account.
To create a header style, go to System Settings, then click into Admin Options.
Click on Custom Styles tile. A new window will appear.
In the new window, click on the Header Styles tab on the left. Click on the plus icon in the top right of the pop out to add a new header style and enter a name for the style.
In the four tabs below, you can customize the Header Style and add content to the Left, Center, and Right of the header.
Under the Header Style tab, you can select a Header Height, as well as color and border. This tab controls the style of the entire header. Under the Left, Center, and Right tabs, you can add content to your header. You can add text content or images. Images automatically re-size based on your header height.

By checking the box next to Default Style, this header style will be applied to all briefing books in your account, unless the header style is otherwise specified. When users add a new briefing book, this header will automatically be selected.
Assign a style to a briefing book
Header styles can be applied to any briefing book template by editing the briefing book template. Click on the edit icon to the right of any briefing book.
Under the Header and Footer tab, select any of your custom styles using the dropdown menus.
Footer Styles
Footer styles can be created in the Custom Styles menu and then applied to any briefing book template in your account.
To create a footer style, go to System Settings, then click into Admin Options.
Click on Custom Styles tile. A new window will appear.
In the new window, click on the Footer Styles tab on the left. Click on the plus icon in the top right of the pop out to add a new header style and enter a name for the style.
In the four tabs below, you can customize the Footer Style and add content to the Left, Center, and Right of the header.
Under the Footer Style tab, you can select a Footer Height, as well as color and border. This tab controls the style of the entire footer. Under the Left, Center, and Right tabs, you can add content to your footer. You can add text content or images.
Tokens are available to add as text in the footer, as well. Below is a list of tokens available to use in header and footer styles. Tokens are a great way to create dynamic styles that change depending on the report.

Assign a style to a briefing book
Footer styles can be applied to any briefing book template by editing the briefing book template. Click on the edit icon to the right of any briefing book.
Under the Header and Footer tab, select any of your custom styles using the dropdown menus.
Account Colors
You can customize the background color of your ClearPoint account, as well as the color of the navigation bar. From under System Settings, Click on Admin Options.
Click on Custom Styles. A new window will appear.
In the new window, click on the Account Colors tab on the left. You can change the background color of your account under Content Color Background.
After saving your selection, refresh your browser and then the screen will reflect the custom color your selected.
