You should see a card prompting you to log in when you open ClearBot. If you don’t and aren’t already logged in, type “log in” or “sign in” to make it appear.

Clicking “ClearPoint Login” will open a pop-up with the ClearPoint login screen. Enter the same email and password you use to log in to the ClearPoint web application and click “Login”. Once you’re authenticated, you’ll be all ready to use ClearBot.

Supported Features

Viewing Elements

ClearBot can display these element types:

  • objective
  • measure
  • initiative
  • milestone
  • action item
  • risk

ClearBot’s natural language processing can understand a variety of commands to display an element. Start by typing a command to specify which type of element you’d like to view:

  • “Show me a risk”
  • “View an initiative”
  • “Display an objective”

ClearBot will then ask you to provide the name of the element you’d like to view. The name you provide doesn’t need to be precise — ClearBot will perform a search and give you the closest-matching element or elements.

Updating Elements

Editing ClearPoint edit fields (e.g. name, start date, end date) is currently not supported, but you can update ClearPoint update fields (e.g. analysis, recommendations, status). ClearBot can help you update these element types:
  • objective
  • measure
  • initiative
  • milestone
  • action item
  • risk
As with viewing elements, ClearBot’s natural language processing can understand a variety of commands related to updating an element. Start by typing a command to specify which type of element you’d like to update:
  • “Update a milestone”
  • “Edit action item”
ClearBot will then ask you to provide the name of the element you’d like to update. ClearBot will perform a search and give you the closest-matching element or elements. When the search is complete, ClearBot will provide you with a form for that element. Enter your changes into that form and click “Submit” to update the element.
