Setting IP Restrictions | ClearPoint Strategy

Setting IP Restrictions

IP Restrictions make it possible to allow or block specific IP addresses from accessing your ClearPoint account. This feature can be used on IP addresses using IPV4 or CIDR format. The ClearPoint Support Team will be globally ‘allowed’ in order to provide quality support services to all accounts.

Feature available for Enterprise Plan customers

To control IP Restrictions, open System Settings in the control panel and click on Admin Options.

Click on IP Address Restrictions.

Under IP Allow List, enter an IP address (IPV4 or CIDR format) to allow access to your account. If a specific IP address is allowed, then all other IP addresses will not have access to your account. If this field is left blank, all IP addresses, other than ones that are blocked, will have access to your account. To allow multiple IP addresses, enter each new IP address (IPV4 or CIDR format) on a separate line.

Under IP Block List, enter an IP address that will not be able to access your account. If you block and allow an IP address, the allowed permission will override the blocked permission and this location will have access to your account. To block multiple IP addresses, enter each new IP address (IPV4 or CIDR format) on a separate line.

Under, Test IP Address, you will see your current IP address. You can enter in different IP addresses to test the addresses under IP Allow List and IP Block List.

When finished adding IP addresses click Save.
